If the vehicle is drivable:
The first thing you need to do is get an estimate for the cost of repairs, (you do not have to get more than one estimate). We will write a free visual estimate for the repairs needed, no appointment necessary. The estimate process will take about 10-20 minutes depending on the amount of damage. After we complete the estimate we will schedule your vehicle repairs. You are the owner of the vehicle and pay lots of money for your insurance; it is your choice, not your insurance company’s, who will repair your car. It Is The Law.
The second step is to turn in your insurance claim. You will need to call your insurance agent/company to advise them of the loss and related information. In the State of Michigan it is your choice who repairs your vehicle. Your insurance company may try to tell you that you have to go to one of their preferred shops. You are our customer and your families safety always comes first. Please let us know if you have problems or if you need assistance.
If the vehicle is not drivable:
If you feel your vehicle is not safe to drive, please call us and we will advise you on how to proceed for your particular circumstances. If you are at all concerned with the damage affecting the drivability please call us.
